每日晨读《青蛙王子》

旁白：Once upon a time, there was a king and his beautiful daughters. Their castle was very close to a large forest.One hot summer day, the youngest princess went into the forest to play her favourite toy, a little golden ball. She liked throwing it to the sky and then caught it. Suddenly the ball fell off and rolled into the spring. The princess was very sad when she heard a voice: 

青蛙：What’s the matter, little girl?

旁白：The princess stood up and looked around.

公主：Who is there?

青蛙：Down here.

公主：It’s only you. I am looking for my ball.

青蛙：Hmmm... I can help you look for it.

公主：Really?

青蛙：But what will you do for me in return?

公主：I can give you all kinds of beautiful things.

青蛙：But I have a better idea. I want to be your best friend and share everything with you. Have dinner with you, sleep next to you...

旁白：The princess felt so strange to hear this. But she had to agree to the frog’s demands because she loved her ball so much.

The frog jumped into the spring and found the ball near the bottom. Then he rolled it to the princess. 

青蛙：Here is your ball, dear princess.

旁白：The princess picked it up and ran away. The frog couldn’t catch up with her.

青蛙：Wait for me!

旁白：The next day, the frog came to the castle and knocked on the door. The young princess opened the door but found nobody there.

青蛙：Down here!

旁白：As soon as the young princess saw the frog, she shut the door suddenly. She began to cry and told the king about the things happened yesterday.

国王：Well, what’s wrong with that? Bring in the frog!

公主：No, father. I don’t want to have him be my companion. What will I do?

旁白：At this time, the frog knocked the door again.

青蛙：Princess, have you so easily forgotten the promise you made to me?

国王：My dear daughter, you have made a promise. Open the door and let the frog come in.

旁白：The princess walked to the door and opened it. From then on, she had to keep her words and shared everything with the frog. One day, the princess dropped the frog on the ground carelessly. Then the frog hit the ground and stopped moving.

公主：Oh dear. What have I done? I’m so sorry, frog.

旁白：The princess bent down and kissed the frog. Suddenly the frog was gone. A handsome prince lay on the ground.

王子：You did it. My dear princess. You broke the curse. I’m finally free.

旁白：The princess was very happy and fell in love with the prince.

故事梗概

在人们还可以实现愿望的古代，那时候有个国王，他有好几位公主。虽然每位公主都貌美如花，但是她们中的小公主更是光艳照人，连见过很多世面的太阳，在每次向她洒下万道金光时，也因她的美而惊奇不已。

在国王城堡附近有一片广阔无垠的黑森林，在林中的一棵老菩堤树下，有一口水井。天气炎热时，小公主总会到林中的那口井边，坐在凉爽的井台上。如果呆的时间比较长，她还会拿出一个金球，在手里抛上抛下，这是她最喜欢的游戏。

有一天，小公主把球抛出后，球却没有落回她抛球的小手里，球掉在井边，然后就滚进了井里，小公主眼睁睁地看着它下沉。

那口井很深，简直是深不见底，小公主开始哭泣。哭呀哭呀，似乎谁也安慰不了她。

就在这时，她听到有个声音对她说，“什么事使您如此伤心啊，公主？您的眼泪连铁石心肠的人也能感动。”

小公主抬起头来朝发出声音的地方看去，发现有只青蛙正把它那呆笨脑袋瓜子伸出水面。

“噢!是你吗？你这个摇摇晃晃的家伙，”小公主说道，“我是在为我掉到井里的金球而哭呀。”

“没有关系，别哭了。”青蛙回答，“我能够帮助您，但是如果我再把您的球捡起来，您会给我什么报酬呢？”

“你要什么我就给你什么，亲爱的青蛙，”公主说，“我的任何衣服，珍珠宝石，甚至我头上的金冠，都可以。”

“您的衣服，您的珍珠宝石，您的金冠我都用不着，”青蛙回答说，“但是，如果您会爱我，把我当作您的同伴，亲吻我一下，那么我就潜入水底，替您把金球再拿上来。”

“好的，”公主思考了一下，答道，“我答应你这个要求，只要你再把球给我拿回来。”

青蛙一听到她表示同意，就钻进水里不见踪影了。一会儿，它嘴里衔着球冒出了水面，然后就把球扔在草地上。

当公主看到她的漂亮的玩具时，心里非常欢喜，拣起球就走了。

就在这时候，青蛙抬起它可怜巴巴的圆眼睛恳求道：“求您了，亲爱的公主，只有您的吻能够破除邪恶的女巫施在我身上的诅咒。”

美丽的公主被它迫切的恳求打动了，她弯下腰，捧起这个滑溜溜的动物，亲吻了这只小青蛙。

瞬间，青蛙身上的咒语解除了，变成了一个有着一双迷人而亲切的眼睛的王子。

后来公主与青蛙王子结了婚，从此幸福地生活在一起。
